This painting was inspired by the sun. For many civilizations the sun is seen as the great life bringer and deified. And while I might not be religious, I do see the power of the sun as a great symbol of life giving us heat, energy, and light that allow all of life to prosper. I wanted to capture some of that majesty and power on canvas.
