These two were also created for inktober in which I was tasked with doing a painting every single day. "Rising of the Blood Moon" was trying to capture the creepy Halloween vibe with the dead reaching out to this unnerving sky. I've had many ideas with hands reaching up and usually they are concepts about people struggling to be free or reaching for hope, so I thought zombies must have the same thought when they were trying to get out of the ground.
In the opposite vein we have "A Walk Through the Forest" where I really wanted to capture the nice easy feeling of going for a hike. I don't know if you hike, but I often find that a simple walk through nature is a good way to clear the mind.
