This work was created trying to replicate the ukiyo-e style of Japan. While the original process is very intricate and looks different throughout the ages, the main points I took away was to paint solid colors or gradients one at a time in specific areas. I've been to Japan twice and of course, being in my generation, I took a picture of the food and one bowl I particularly loved inspired the first painting. It can go great in any kitchen to remind you to eat that oh so delicious ramen.
