This is part of the Four Seasons Series. This piece depicts Summer and is the first painting I did for the series. I was inspired by Van Gogh's Eternal Radiance. And much like Van Gogh, I recreated the painting in my own style. The way I saw it was that the sunflowers were dancing under the heat of their namesake.
